VO: Why this university?
Me: This university offers specialization in my area of interest and it got a good faculty of research
VO: What's your Undergraduate score?
Me: 62%
VO: Do you have any backlogs?
Me: No sir
VO: Whats your GRE score?
Me: The university I applied does not require GRE score sir
VO: How many universities did u applied to?
Me: 3
VO: Does all the 3 universities doesn't require GRE score?
Me: Yes
VO: I can't issue a visa without GRE, your not showing interest in studies (...... Friends observe this statement, the Visa officer made it very clear he is not supposed to issue Visa without GRE score)
Friends I feel this judgement is justified. Does it make sense if anyone take Visa interview without writing GRE? I saw few students, who attended visa interview without GRE scores, and ended up as above. If you heard of any success stories, that might happened of mere luck. For the students who try to take this path, please understand the mandatory requisites to get into US universities are GRE and TOEFL. How well did you perform, will come next.

i agree with you...since even i did the same for my interview... so guys plz do have a GRE score with u...
If your school does not require the GRE then it is best to have a letter from the school that explains this and tells how they evaluated your english proficiency.
